  • Building Operations Housekeeping Position - Temporary Full Time

    Work Hours: 3 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Empty all trash baskets and replace liners
    • Floor care (hallways and rooms)
    • Clean interior door glass including the outer door glass
    • Set up and tear down for various events throughout the building
    • Painting  
    • Make general repairs throughout the building.   
    • Outside Clean-up
    • Dry sweep and wet mop all floors
    • Clean main floor windows and cushions
  • Staff Accountant - Full Time

    Job Summary:

    Perform general accounting and financial reporting functions for the purpose of providing relevant and reliable financial information.

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Posts data to various ledgers, registers, and journals following established accounting techniques and procedures.  Reconciles & reviews domestic and international bank accounts.
    • Reviews, verifies and codes invoices and check requests for payment. Prepares and processes vendor checks on a weekly basis. Involved with the processing of cash receipts.
    • Prepares, maintains control, and is responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.
    • Involved with the preparation of financial statements and varied fiscal reports.

    Qualifications

    Candidate must have strong accounting skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills; and knowledge in Microsoft Office and various accounting software.  Candidate Testing Required.

    Education and / or Experience

    A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited college or university is required for staff accountant.  Individual must have at least 3-5 years of Financial Accounting experience

  • Data Entry Clerk - Part Time

    Job Summary:

    Desired candidate should have experience in one of the following areas: production, operations, or data entry. Must be able to learn and work with computerized data entry systems and be able to use a 10-key pad with high key strokes a plus.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Minimum 50 Words Per Minute
    • Knowledge of Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, especially Word and Excel
    • Position is for 20 hours per week
  • Help Desk Analyst - Part Time

    Job Summary:

    A successful Help Desk Analyst responds to questions and requests for assistance with the church's Windows and Apple based computer hardware and systems.  Participates in a rotational schedule to provide IT related support for church services.  Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves problems with the goal of eliminating recurrences.  Coordinates with other Information Technology areas to resolve problems as needed.

    Skills:

    • College degree or related IT experience
    • Demonstrate analytical skills and ability to learn quickly
    • Detail-oriented, motivated to produce quality results
    • Capable of working individually and in a team environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing activities with minimal supervision
    • Position is for 29 hours per week

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Problem analysis and resolution
      • Logs all help desk calls or email requests into Problem Reporting System and updates problem profiles.
      • Analyzes and resolves problems with a goal of 90% First Call Resolution.
      • Supports at a minimum Microsoft Office, Windows 7, Standard Desktops, Password Administration, Hardware Diagnostics, and Web technology.
      • Escalates aged or un-resolved problems to IT Management for awareness/action.
      • Reviews Track-It Problem Reporting System and generates weekly status reports.
    2. Problem prevention (when time permits)
      • Investigates causes, tests solutions, and puts solutions in place to reduce calls to the help desk.
      • Fixes causes, not just solutions. Works to eliminate recurring problems and reasons to call.
      • Promotes effective use of technology.
      • Assists with IT projects as time permits.
    3. Customer Service
      • Must learn to think of the customer as the most important part of the job.
      • Involves dealing with and/or responding positively to complaints, problems, and sometimes negative and emotional behavior.
      • Promotes a professional help desk image.
      • Understanding help desk priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing these objectives.
    4. Communication
      • Keeps peers and customer informed of problem status, delays and/or anything new in the environment.
      • Keeps customers informed of global problems, scheduled downtime or anything that affects the computing environment.
      • Keeps customers informed of progress on problems that cannot be resolved on first call.
    5. Training
      • Keeps current on technology used in the environment supported.
      • Takes training that continues to develop interpersonal skills.
  • Accounting Clerk - Part Time

    • Bank Teller Experience Preferred
    • Position is for 20-24 hours per week
  • Legal Secretary

    Job Summary:

    The Legal Department has an immediate opening for a full-time Legal Secretary. This position supports the Chief Corporate Counsel. This position performs organizing and presenting information, keeping information related to cases or transactions in computer databases, drafting correspondences and other documents, interfacing with outside vendors, conducting legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles, and other legal functions as determined by the Chief Corporate Counsel.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Strong administrative skills
    • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience working as a Legal Secretary/Paralegal
    • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Experience with Westlaw and Lexis & Contract Management databases
  • Web Developer / Designer - Part Time

    Job Summary:

    Word of Faith has an opening for a Part Time Webmaster. We are seeking an experienced web developer / designer assisting our web department with Word of Faith web sites and mobile apps. Ideal candidates should have experience with mobile development, front end design, Web Standards, CSS, Javascript (JQUERY), HTML Email Design, SEO, PHP, MySQL, ecommerce and Linux.
