Senior Accountant
SUMMARY
Perform general accounting and financial reporting functions for the purpose of providing relevant and reliable financial information to the users of the financials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in coordinating the goals, objectives, and job functions of the Accounting Dept.
-
Manage Accounts Receivables and Cash Receipts.
-
Prepares, maintains control, and is responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.
-
Reconciles & reviews domestic and international bank accounts.
-
Involved with the preparation of financial statements and varied fiscal reports.
-
Posts data to various ledgers, registers, journals, and logs following established accounting techniques and procedures.
-
Monitors the financial activity on assigned programs and prepares expenditure reports for management as needed.

Reconcile accounts, prepare work papers and respond to requests related to external annual audits.
-
Reviews accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes or directs correcting entries.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Applicant must have an extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; strong accounting skills; ability to manage multiple projects at a given time, including during deadline periods; must be an initiative-taker as well as a team player; excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge in Microsoft Office and various accounting software.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited college or university. 3-5 years of Financial Accounting experience; Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Gmail; Excellent communication and organization skills.

Quality Assurance Analyst
SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Analyst’s role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the Information Technology, Data Processing, Database Management/Administration and Accounting matrix activities within the organization. This individual will also gather, import, and analyze data in support of the daily operations of the business.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform database updates to church management system(s), data mining/migration, weekly reporting, analysis and work flow processes.
-
Performing various daily, weekly and monthly operational tasks in support of systems.
-
Conduct internal audits/reviews to measure and assure adherence to departmental and organizational policies.
-
Analyze problems and recommend solutions to solve issues and/or improve existing processes.
-
Verify and revise quality assurance standards and create or revise documentation, as needed.
-
Ensure via database/app vendors or direct hands-on, that testing activities allow applications to meet business
requirements and systems goals and identify existing or potential issues. -
Collaborate with internal departments across the organization in application testing, training and usage.
-
Cultivate and share knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
-
Performing other duties, either for this department or other department(s) within the business as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Highly customer/client/member focused, patient, compassionate, and eager/desire to deliver excellent customer service.

Strong knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft Office 2016+ suite of products (i.e., Excel (formulas, macros, accounting features), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) a must.

Data mining, data entry, data verification, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities are a must.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, IT, Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Business Administration preferred.

Agile Project Management, Jira, or Six Sigma extensive exposure in project-based work structures desired.
-
Experience working in a non-profit environment preferred.
-
5 years’ direct experience in Quality Control or database management.

Administrative Assistant
SUMMARY
The Administrative Professional Department has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant (“AA”). The “AA” selected will perform a variety of responsible and specialized administrative and office support functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide administrative support to supervisor.

Coordinate and arrange numerous meetings.

Assist with numerous projects.

Must be proficient with Excel for numerous reports.

Provide effective communication via emails, memos, letters and telephone calls.

Correspond with various locations.

Complete and submit internal paperwork, forms, and requests.

Manage calendars and schedule appointments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong administrative skills.

Associates Degree or 5 years of experience of working as a high level Administrative Assistant.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
