HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

SUMMARY

 

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Administration Assistant (“HRAA”) is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources Department.  The “HRAA” will be required to both take direction and work independently, to ensure the successful completion of the departmental goals and objectives.  The “HRAA” will work in a professionally and culturally appropriate manner that is consistent and cognizant of the Word of Faith International Christian Center customs and traditions.
 
The “HRAA” will handle a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks, including but not limited to posting job advertisements, updating HR databases, and processing employee requests.

The “HRAA” position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage sensitive information with the utmost confidentially.  If you are passionate about HR policies and procedures and want to help create a nourishing workplace, this position is for you.

Ultimately, you will gain hands-on HR experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment supporting and enhancing all HR functions. 
 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

​​

  • Provide administrative support to HR executives.

  • Respond to employee inquires and provide requested information. 

  • Maintain employee records (both digital and physical copies)

  • Actively participates departmental strategic planning sessions.

  • Assists in drafting employee correspondence, including offer letters, employment agreements, memorandums and other necessary communications. 

  • Prepare and maintain meeting agendas, record and distribute meeting minutes.

  • Track probationary period end dates and annual performance appraisals due dates and provide reports to supervisors.

  • Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, paid time off and medical leave).  

  • Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data. 

  • Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures.

  • Process employee requests and provide relevant information.

  • Coordinate HR projects, meetings and training seminars.

  • Post job ads on careers pages and process incoming resumes.

  • Manage the department’s webmail and address queries accordingly.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications.

  • Conduct new employee orientations, provide onboarding packages and explain company policies.

  • Act as a reliable and supportive team member.

  • Demonstrate excellent communications and interpersonal skills. 

  • Keep current with local, state and federal regulations and report any new or upcoming changes to HR Director. 

  • Keep current Labor Law postings.

  • Enhance job knowledge through educational opportunities and by reading professional publications.

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS 

 

•    PC literacy and experience with MS Office applications. 
•    Knowledge of labor legislation.
•    Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
•    Teamwork skills.
•    BS degree in Human Resources or relevant field. 
•    Full-time, 40 hours per week
•    Standard hours are Tuesday-Friday 7:45 a.m. - 6:15 p.m.  under deadlines.

Senior Accountant

SUMMARY

 

Perform general accounting and financial reporting functions for the purpose of providing relevant and reliable financial information to the users of the financials.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

​

  • Assist in coordinating the goals, objectives, and job functions of the Accounting Dept.

  • Manage Accounts Receivables and Cash Receipts.  

  • Prepares, maintains control, and is responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.

  • Reconciles & reviews domestic and international bank accounts.

  • Involved with the preparation of financial statements and varied fiscal reports.

  • Posts data to various ledgers, registers, journals, and logs following established accounting techniques and procedures.

  • Monitors the financial activity on assigned programs and prepares expenditure reports for management as needed.

  • Reconcile accounts, prepare work papers and respond to requests related to external annual audits.

  • Reviews accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes or directs correcting entries.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Applicant must have an extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; strong accounting skills; ability to manage multiple projects at a given time, including during deadline periods; must be an initiative-taker as well as a team player; excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge in Microsoft Office and various accounting software.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited college or university. 3-5 years of Financial Accounting experience; Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Gmail; Excellent communication and organization skills.

 Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY

The Administrative Professional Department has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant (“AA”).  The “AA” selected will perform a variety of responsible and specialized administrative and office support functions. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

​

  • Provide administrative support to supervisor.

  • Coordinate and arrange numerous meetings.  

  • Assist with numerous projects.

  • Must be proficient with Excel for numerous reports.

  • Provide effective communication via emails, memos, letters and telephone calls.  

  • Correspond with various locations.

  • Complete and submit internal paperwork, forms, and requests.

  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments.

  • And other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Strong administrative skills.

  • Associates Degree or 5 years of experience of working as a high level Administrative Assistant.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Extremely confidential.

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
