MINISTRIES
Kidz World is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Kids, birth through fifth grade, experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We desire to partner with families by creating experiences for children to know God, discover who they are in Christ, be filled with His power, and experience His love.
We believe it's more fun to do life together. Rise 620 is a place where youth in grades 6-12 experience a great environment every Wednesday evening at 7pm and 2nd & 4th Sunday mornings. Students enjoy hanging out, playing games, making new friends, and worshiping God together. Teens will develop a real relationship with God and discover their purpose with Christ, while being equipped to rise above the intense challenges and daily distractions facing them today.

HOLY COMMUNION"And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me." (I Corinthians 11:24-25) Holy Communion is a memorial of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It symbolizes our freedom from sin and its effect on our fellowship with God through Christ. The Greek word for communion in the New Testament is KOINONIA, which means “a fellowship, a partaking.” Therefore, Holy Communion is a physical reminder of our fellowship with Christ and our victory over the devil. The Bible teaches that an individual should not participate in Holy Communion “unworthily” (I Corinthians 11:27). This would refer to two states of being: -An individual who has not received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (not born again). -A born again believer who has unconfessed sin in his or her life. As an assembled body of believers, we partake of Holy Communion the fourth Sunday of every month.

WATER BAPTISM"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" (Matthew 28:19-20) Water Baptism is a biblical ordinance given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. The word “baptism” comes from the Greek word “BAPTIZO” which means to plunge into, submerge, to sink, thrust under, immerse, or soak. Water Baptism is an act of obedience that is subsequent to the New Birth experience. It is an outward sign of the inward grace of salvation. It represents that we have died to sin and self, and we now live new lives in Him. Therefore, it is important to note that Water Baptism does not have any saving power. There is only one way that we can become born again Christians, and that is by receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior (Romans 10:8-10). BABY DEDICATION“There were brought unto him little children that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19: 13-14) Children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3). There is no greater moment in time when this truth is more realized by parents than at the birth of their child. Understanding this truth, we believe that presenting and dedicating a child to God should be as natural to Christian parents as burping a baby after he is fed. Baby Dedication is a scriptural practice. We read in the Gospel according to Luke (Luke 2:22-33) that the parents of Jesus dedicated Him unto the Lord on the eighth day as the Law had prescribed (Leviticus 12:1-4). Also in the Gospel according to Matthew (Matthew 19: 13-14), we read about how people brought their little ones to Jesus so that He might place His hands on them and pray for them. Following the scriptural example of Jesus, during our Baby Dedication Service, Bishop Keith A. Butler prays and lays hands on each and every child pronouncing the Blessing of God upon their lives. Parents publicly acknowledge God’s ownership of their child and pledge before God and His people to bring up their child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. click here to register online

LONG-TERM CARE“For I was hungered, and you gave me meat: I was thirst, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me” (Matthew 25:35,36) The ministry of Word of Faith is to reach out to those that are sick and shut-in. The heart of Bishop Keith A. Butler is to put in place special ministry for those that are sick and shut in. Members of Word of Faith are entitled to this special ministry from our Pastoral Care department. They are provided with Ministry of the Word and Holy. The member must be sick and shut-in with some form of medical challenge. Our goal is to minister the healing power from the Word of God and restore them back into the sheepfold. If you are a member of Word of Faith, and are sick and shut-in, you may call the church at (248) 353-3476 and ask for the Pastoral Care Department.
