Be Mindful of What You Allow in Your Mind

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. (Proverbs 23:7)

The thoughts you allow in your mind become the beliefs that shape who you are and how you act. What thoughts are you allowing in your mind? Whatever you meditate on will change the possibilities in your life. If you believe you can do all things through Christ, meditate on that Scripture, declare it, and don’t change your confession. Then, you will see the miraculous things in your life.

The enemy wants you to confess and agree with him. He doesn’t want you to win at anything, so he wants you to focus on how impossible, complex, or problematic a situation is.

Be mindful of what you allow to remain in your mind. Just because a thought shows up doesn’t mean you must keep thinking about it. If that thought doesn’t align with God’s Word, you must throw it down immediately!

Negative thoughts will always lead to negative outcomes, while positive, faith-filled thoughts will lead to heavenly actions and results. In Philippians 4:8, Paul encouraged believers to think about true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable things. You can control your thoughts when you’re mindful about what you allow in your mind.

Practical Application

When negative thoughts or doubts appear in your mind, reject them immediately. Speak against them using the Word of God. Declare it out loud with your mouth and expect to see God’s miraculous results.
