Expectation brings Manifestation

And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. (Acts 3:5)

The lame man that Peter and John met at the gate called beautiful wasn’t merely wishing or hoping; he got himself into a position of expectation.

The Scripture says that he placed all his attention on Peter and John expecting to receive something. He wasn't sure what he would receive, but his attention was in the right place.

Expectation attaches your faith to a moment with full confidence that God is about to do something on your behalf.

Expectation is more than “I’ll try it and see if it works.” Faith doesn’t try. Faith receives.

Faith is a boldness that expects to receive what God has promised fully.

Don’t pray simply because you think that’s what you’re supposed to do. Don’t pray to put on a religious demonstration because you believe it's what others expect of you.

Instead, pray with expectation, knowing that God hears you. He is getting you everything that you need. Pray with the mindset that, if God promised it, it is already done. Then give Him thanks for it!

Like the man at the beautiful gate, give God your full attention, expecting Him to do what He said He would do. Expectation brings manifestation.

Practical Application – When you pray, finish with a declaration of faith, saying, “Now, I receive everything I have prayed about right now, and I thank You for it, in Jesus' name." Expect to receive.

Mark 11:24; Mark 5:34
