Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. (Acts 2:33)
Did you grow up in a household where specific seats were reserved for the family's honored members? Sometimes only the grandfather or the father would have the honor of sitting at the head of a table.

The Bible describes two seats of authority. The first is the head of the table or the center of the room. The second is the seat immediately to the right of those most honored positions. This is where we get the concept of a right-hand man. It is the person you will defer to, honor, and who you will look to for support.
The Word tells us that after Jesus ascended into heaven, He took His position at the right hand of the Father God, the most revered and respected seated position in all eternity. What an amazing seat.
The good news is that Scripture says that He doesn't sit there alone. The Word tells us that we are seated with Him in heavenly places. That means that you are not merely a resident of the heavenly kingdom; you are sitting in the right-hand position - the place of authority, honor, and power.
Practical Application – If you ever feel like you are nobody or disrespected because of how man looks at you, take a moment to remember that you’re seated with Christ in heaven, in a position of the highest honor and authority.
