For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant. And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness: And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people; That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD. (Psalm 105:42-45)
The Israelites spent 400 years in slavery in Egypt, yet God never forgot His covenant because when God makes a promise, it is eternal. He does not promise like people do. No matter how long it takes, God remembers what He has promised you. If He said it, He will do it. If He promised it, He will perform it. He has declared restoration, healing, provision, and more over your life, so even if you don’t see it physically in front of you yet, hold on because it’s coming.
God didn’t just bring His people from slavery to freedom; He did so with joy! Acting in joy before you see the fulfillment of something is a sign of faith. If you believe God has delivered you, your joy should reflect that. Not only is joy an act of faith, but your joy also brings strength. The enemy wants you to remain discouraged, but joy keeps you strong!
Nehemiah stated that the joy from the Lord strengthens you. (Nehemiah 8:10) When the people of Israel were released, they expressed their joy through shouting and dancing because deliverance isn’t complete until joy is restored.
With their joy came a supernatural wealth transfer. The Israelites didn’t just leave Egypt free and joyful—they were wealthy, with silver and gold from the Egyptians. When God delivers, He doesn’t just bring you out—He brings you into greater things. The restoration was full of joy, which led to total prosperity.
Practical Application
You need to rejoice in advance! If God promised it, it is coming, so start celebrating now. God is in the business of supernatural wealth transfers. Decide to receive it and rejoice before you see it.
